On Wednesday December 11, 2007  College students from Cal State Fresno and Fresno City College met together to discuss the purpose of starting a Adventist Christian Fellowship student organization on their campuses.

Here were the events of the meeting:

We introduced and got acquainted with each other with a spaghetti dinner.

Then, we began an online testimony www.acflink.org of someone starting an Adventist student organization in Sacramento (heard on Network 7 News - GC). The testimony had an in-reach slant serving only Adventists, so I mentioned that Fresno Fusion's intentions were to bring on a more outreach focus, in ways that do not compromise our faith.  Not to be different, but with a message that brings personal joy.

Next, Terry and Mike led out in a brainstorming session as to what we can actually do on campus.  We came up with ten ideas mixed in with activities that currently go with Fresno Fusion and activities that can be done on campus with a student organization in place.

Then, Terry led with rating those activities with a book called, "The Unchurched Next Door".  This book categorized "Unchurched people" based on their level of receptivity to the gospel.  U1 is ready to receive the Word of God.  U5 is highly antagonistic to the gospel.  Many of the ideas presented at the meetings were shown to extend to all these groups.  However, we felt that more can be done to reach the U3-U5's.

Clarification was made to the upcoming Self-Defense class Krinstin is working to share her gifts in.  This is a felt need that all young adults can participate in.  We are looking at conference office, Westside, or Sunnyside's gymnasiums for the activity.

I introduced our new website under construction called:

http://youngadultfusion.org/

Outcome
We ended with a spirit of openness and willingness of each to do what we can.  We confirmed the possibility of taking on the class officers required for these student organizations.  We need 4 officers minimum for each.

We planned to meet again for New Year Eve -- as an alternative Christian setting to celebrate in with friends, and then a week later to strategize more solidly.

Voluntary prayer session ended the meeting, were everyone prayed for God's wisdom to campus ministries

Attendance
Many people who wanted to come had testing and papers going on, but those present were:
